About Interaction ELF

Join schools around the world to practice the English you already know!

Interaction in English as a Lingua Franca (ELF) is a project which aims to get together English schools from non-native speaker countries to share experiences and practice the language as they learn it. Here, the accent, minor grammar mistakes and perfection are not the focus, the communication and cultural exchange are.

I have also made practice of my English . As i am an English teacher, talking with English speakers  is the best methods of improving language skills. Furtheremore, I have  learned some key words which i have never heard . Thanks to this program ,i got some brilliant ideas for learning a foreign language . Thank you for your support."

"This short trip we took with Diogo was incredibly enjoyable and inspiring. Brazil was a country I had not been to before and knew very little about its culture. It was invaluable to learn about the food, cultural events and landmarks of people who live and know Brazilian culture, chat with them one-on-one and make new friends. At the same time, the fact that people from two different cultures whose mother tongue is not English can express themselves comfortably in this language and that we can understand each other without having communication problems proved the enriching effect of knowing a common language. I would like to thank Diogo for presenting this idea, developing it and bringing us together."

José Bruno - Brazil

"The participation in this project was fantastic. During a normal English course, we’re used to listening and talking with people in the same country, but during the meetings we had the feeling of being truly English speakers, knowling different accents and people from another country and having a moment of a real experience interacting in English with them. I recommend it for all English students searching for a funny and deep experience with students from other countries."
